Makeup & More Privacy Policy

Our privacy commitment

Makeup & More is operated by Fernando Parodi. We use personal information only to operate the booking platform, connect customers with their selected professionals, support appointments, protect accounts, and meet legitimate operational or legal requirements.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, mobile number, account identifier, saved service addresses, arrival instructions, booking details, messages and notes, loyalty and referral activity, payment status, and basic technical or security information generated when you use the app.

The app does not request access to your device’s contacts, photographs, camera, microphone, or GPS location. Appointment reminders are scheduled locally on your device after you grant notification permission. We do not upload a push-notification token for these reminders.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Create, authenticate, and secure your account.

• Display relevant services, professionals, availability, and prices.

• Submit, confirm, reschedule, and manage bookings.

• Share necessary appointment details with your selected professional.

• Provide customer support and respond to enquiries.

• Maintain loyalty and referral activity.

• Prevent misuse and maintain booking, payment, and administrative records.

• Improve the reliability and operation of the platform.

Professionals and service addresses

The professional selected for an appointment receives the information reasonably needed to assess and deliver that booking, including relevant contact and service-address details. Detailed addresses are made available only when required for the appointment. Platform administrators use limited booking information for support, security, and reporting.

Payments and external services

Where available, payment opens an external Ziina checkout controlled by the selected professional. Makeup & More does not collect or store your card number, bank credentials, or other payment-account details. We may retain the booking’s payment status, amount, method, and receipt reference.

If you choose a WhatsApp action, the app opens WhatsApp with a prepared message. WhatsApp handles any information you choose to send under its own privacy terms.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database, security, and realtime infrastructure. Expo, Apple, and other technical providers may support app building, distribution, device notifications, hosting, or security. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services, and their processing is also governed by their applicable privacy and contractual obligations.

Personal information may be processed or stored outside your country when these service providers operate internationally, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Makeup & More does not sell personal information. The current version does not use third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or a developer-facing analytics SDK. We do not use your information to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Data retention and account deletion

We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service.

Customers can permanently delete their account from the Profile section of the app. Authentication information, profile data, saved addresses, notifications, and owned loyalty data are removed. Booking and payment records that must remain for service history, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations may be retained only in anonymized form, without the customer’s name, email address, phone number, notes, or detailed service address.

Your choices and rights

You may review or update relevant account information, manage saved addresses, control notification permission through your device settings, sign out, or request account deletion within the app.

Depending on applicable law, you may also request access to, correction of, or information about your personal data. You may contact us using the details below to make a privacy request.

Security

We use authentication, access controls, and database security policies designed to restrict personal information to the customer, the assigned professional when necessary, and authorized platform functions. No system can guarantee absolute security, so you should protect your password and device.

Children

Makeup & More is intended for adults arranging professional services. It is not designed for children to create accounts independently, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date when material changes are made.
